Community Efforts to Upgrade Our Hall
Wilshaw Village Hall was built in 1873 and is a Grade II listed building. Whilst the age and historic nature of the building gives it charm and character, investment is required to renovate and modernise the Hall. Having purchased the Hall in 2018 the Wilshaw Village Hall Trustees launched a community consultation and an ambitious Rejuvenation Project.

Funds for the project have so far been provided through local community fundraising and grants from Meltham Town Council, Meltham Crossroads Project and the Huddersfield Common Good Trust. Other funding applications, including to the National Lottery are also being made but in order to fully complete the works listed above and restore the Hall to its former glory any help, however small, would be gratefully received.
