WILSHAW WELLY WALK 2026

This walk was held as planned with two brand new routes, 5 & 7.3 miles - download maps here.

It was a lovely day, plenty of refreshments were on hand, car parking arrangements had been arranged in the adjacent field and the walk had been well promoted in Meltham Hive, banners at both end of the village, posters and handouts had been widely circulated and even bunting had been put up around the village hall to draw attention to the event.

However, disappointingly very few people turned up although those that did, reportedly had a great time, were very generous and at least £250 was raised for the Village Hall. So thankyou very much to all the walkers and also to the volunteers who contributed their time and refreshments to allow the event to take place.
